What I am learning to (WALT)…
- Students explore how Jesus interacted with the culture of his time
- Students then identify how they can be alike, but not like the culture
- They identify the current culture in Australia and then explore how the Bible communicates the gospel different to those who are churched and to those who have little Biblical knowledge
What I am looking for (WILF)…
- To honestly evaluate their relationship with culture, and who their choices say they more strongly identify with: Christ or the world.
- Students to self-reflect on how they are interacting with the culture- are they being separate from the culture in a way that has little impact or are they being salt and light?
- Students realise that are living sacrifices not to earn salvation, but in response to what Jesus has done for them.
What I need (WIN)…
- Electronic device
- Internet access
- Access to Tyndale Learn Dash
This is because (TIB)…
- Christians are called to bear witness to the gospel through the way the live their lives. Our lives are sometimes the only Bible people will ever get to read
- Jesus spoke about lukewarm Christians as well as hypocrites. Christians have little to no impact when they are disobedient. Jesus speaks about spitting them out of his mouth. Ignorance is not an excuse.
