DISCUSS

  • This passage mentions becoming mature and no longer being infants, what differences do you think you might notice between a person who is an ‘infant’ in the Christian faith compared with someone who is ‘mature’?
  • How do you think a person can grow from being an ‘infant’ to ‘mature’ in their faith?
  • Why might ‘speaking’ (and seeking!) the truth in love’ be an important factor in this growth process?

Christians grow in maturity best when they have a group of friends that they can do life with and grow in faith together. These are friends who are willing to go beyond social media updates and who truly love God and one another. That means going beyond surface-level conversations.
