What I am looking for (WILF)…
- Students to actively engage with what the Bible says about becoming mature in the faith and how this helps Christians to be discerning.
- Students will research and apply biblical truth to contemporary topics like Black Lives Matter, Love is love, Gay rights are civil rights, Women’s rights are human rights, Transgender women are women, No human is illegal, Science is real, Kindness is everything.
What I need (WIN)…
- Electronic device
- Internet access
- Access to Tyndale Learn Dash
This is because (TIB)…
- We are limited in our ability to stop this overload of information that confronts us each day and because God calls us to be in the world, but not of the world we need to discern what is good and true to remain mature in our faith and to have a positive impact with the gospel on others who are non-Christian’s or immature in their faith.
- It is good for our own mental health to be selective about what we think about so that we can avoid anxiety and experience the peace of God that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
- The devil wants nothing more than to disable Christians and we are called to “be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
